Firstly, make a list of your top 20 clients or customers. The ones that rave about you and your services and are always spreading the love – they will be YOUR advocates.
Secondly, create a script you can use so that you are getting to the point without fumbling or rambling and wasting their time.
Thirdly, make it easy for people to refer you. Create a lead magnet, refer a friend with 30% off their first purchase or create a brochure so that they have something tangible to give them or shooting a quick video is another good approach.
Then reward them. An incentive is always a great way to get the ball rolling and to show that you appreciate their efforts.
Lastly, make sure you use the proven method to make sure your customers refer you again and again by over-delivering to the over-exaggerated expectations of you clientele.
